Jenna's Journey

I have uploaded a new song. It is called Jenna's Journey. It is in memory of a beautiful seventeen year old girl who passed away this past September. She had been battling a painful type of cancer since she was 15. If you have facebook, you can read her mom and dads journal entries for the past two years. The group is called Jenna's Journey.

Hello! My Name Is Jodi Ann. I am a songwriter from Nashville,TN. I have been writing music since I was 12 years old. I came through a rough childhood and somehow I managed my feelings in music. I have led a full life with hardly a dull moment.
Some of my musical influences came from the wonderful soul of Dolly Parton. She has such a way with words. Alison Krauss, Reba McEntire, and Lorrie Morgan Have also played a major role in my music.
Jodi Ann -The Beginning, is my first album. I have songs from my heart, as well as toe tappin' country songs! I am currently working on my second CD titled A Brief Moment in Time.
I have never considered myself a singer. It was a shock to me when i started promoting my music and i was labeled as an artist. It was just amazing that people started telling me that they loved my voice! Way Cool!
I am hoping to keep in touch with people who love country and bluegrass music. I would love to run new songs, ideas and different styles by you! Thank you so much for listening to my music! You make me believe in myself and i just can't thank you enough!

HERE IS MY BIO:
Jodi Ann is a singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Michigan. She started to write poems at the age of 12, received her first guitar at age 8, but did not learn to play it until she was 24. Her first songs were poems to guitar noise at 18 that lead her down the road of singer/songwriter.
Jodi Ann was a well-known Karaoke DJ in Michigan and was a pre-opening act for Diamond Rio at the 1997 Michigan State fair.
Jodi Ann moved to Nashville in October 1998, with her first professional public performance at the famous Tootsies where was was introduced by country legend Dell Reeves. Other performances at the Bluebird Café and around Nashville rounded out a modest start to a potential career.
In 2007, Jodi Ann met a man in Nashville who jump started her music career. His name was Rick. He took her from her waitressing job to recording an album of her original work. He became her c0-writer, producer and best friend. They recorded her first CD, Jodi Ann ~The Beginning, and they had many high hopes! One of their songs was recorded by a country artist and performed on the Late Show with David Letterman.
They began work on the second album titled, A Brief Moment in Time. I am very sad to say that Rick passed away shortly after production. Jodi Ann took a little bit of time off to mourn the loss of her friend. She realized that he would have wanted her to get back in the swing of things.
The second album is still in the process of getting finished and is due to be released later in 2010.
Jodi Ann has seen radio airplay in Sydney, Australia with dj Dukerider, in the England area on the Monday mix with Emma Cherry and a few various stations across the US. In Northern Ireland, on aiiradio.net with dj Yorkie, She has had three songs go to the top forty and her song 'Wheels' was awarded admittance to the hall of fame for staying in the top forty for eighteen weeks straight! She was the Featured artist on the Outer Post and on Indie Charts, on Jan. 24th 2008, she won the Battle on the bands contest competing against bands from all genres of music!

ty that all i can do but its still painful and hurts at times.The hardest bit is trying to move on, i had to give up on music for for a while i am now getting back into it.
