I was born in Livingston Tennessee in 1957. My Grandfather was a musician and a pretty good singer. The stories were that he was invited (twice) to play the Opry. I don't know if it was nerves or lack of confidence, but he turned out to be a better drinker than musician and did a no show each time...
I have been writing as long as I can remember. I started with poems and stories and, eventually, my muse got rhythm and I was hooked! I am primarily a lyricist and am forever indebted to the talented musicians and vocalists that help me let others hear what we've written. There is such a feeling of accomplishment when someone "feels" something when they hear one of my songs. I know at that moment I've done my best.
