David Norris - songwriter/producer

I have been in the music business for a long long time, and still feel that cool rush like when I was a kid when creating and producing. I started off as a sound man in the early 80's and got hired by a professional sound company right around the time I turned 21. I've worked with some really cool people on my journeys...like Aerosmith, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Linda Rondstadt, Yes etc....after I met the girl who was soon to be my wife for 18 years and still going, I settled down and started working in studios as an engineer and a utility musician in California....I would always stay late and lay down my songwriting ideas and really started to feel the passion for producing which I still have major passion for to this day. It's that moment you feel when it all comes together and vision is captured. After I had my second child, I was referred to a very successful video game company in San Diego to compose music for in game and for FMV "full motion video" as well as sound design and foley. It was a great gig and very profitable, but my heart has always been in writing and producing so I picked up my cross and moved my family to Nashville with no regrets....I LOVE THIS TOWN ! ! !
